  • Restorative Nursing

The goal of our Restorative Nursing program is to assure that each resident maintains the highest quality of life possible. The programs include all the activities of daily living such as walking, transferring, eating, bathing, toileting, dressing and range of motion. A registered nurse works with the Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists to design restorative nursing programs on an individual basis. The nurse supervises specially trained nursing assistants to carry out the programs. The programs are designed to help a resident improve the skills accomplished while in skilled therapy or maintain an optimum level of functioning regardless of any previous therapy provided.
