Additional Helpful Guidelines

Visiting Hours

Visiting hours are from 12 to 8 daily. There is no limit to the number of visitors. We reserve the right, however, to ask large groups to visit in the lounge areas for the comfort of the resident's roommate. Children are always welcome, however, please do not leave them unattended. We ask that all visitors register at the Security Office at each visit. When visiting, feel free to address any questions to a nurse on your wing.

Hair Care

Hair care services are available for our residents by appointment. Appointments should be made at the Business Office. Payment is expected at the time the appointment is scheduled.

Mail

Arrangements for the handling of resident mail may be made upon admission. Mail may be delivered to the resident's room or held at the Security Office for the resident or family.

Personal Possessions

We encourage families to bring small personal items with the resident. We request, however, that the resident not keep large sums of money or valuables in their room. We are not responsible for the loss or damage of any personal property. A recommended list of clothing will be given to families once an admission is arranged.

Newsletter

A monthly newsletter is published by the residents and the Activity Department. Copies are available in the Activity Department or the Security Office.

Smoking

Autumn Hills Care Center is a smoke-free facility. Thank you for not smoking.

Visitors Parking and Entrance

Visitors are requested to park in the lot on the northeast side of the building. Please park in the designated visitor parking, not in the employee parking lot. Visitors may enter through the double doors on the northeast side of the building or the front door. No other entrance is a visitor entrance.

Non-discriminatory Policy

Autumn Hills Care Center does not discriminate against any applicant based on race, color, national origin, handicap, sexual orientation, age or method of payment.
